XII Estonian Bartenders Championships XII Estonian Bartenders Championships
were held on April 18 in club R.I.F.F. In this year’s competition all
the participants had to make a long drink. 20 bartenders from 13 bars,
night clubs, lounges, restaurants took part in the competition. In the
classics competition the following persons made it to the final:
- Krista Meri – Olympic Casino
- Heinar Õispuu – Lounge 8
- Kristo Tomingas – Club Hollywood
- Hirja Niit - Yachting Club Kalev
- Helger Aava – Pepper restaurant Karl Friedrich
- Ted-Igor Moutsinga – R.I.F.F.
The results of a tight competition were the following:
Estonian Champion 2006 is Helger Aava – Pepper restaurant Karl Friedrich with cocktail:
Red Gate to Heaven
- 3 cl Vodka Viru Valge watermelon
- 1,5 cl Liqueur Kännu Kukk
- 0,5 cl Cherry syrup, Monin
- 1,5 cl Fresh greipfruit juice
- Cranberry juice
- Carnation: Watermelon, cherry, thyme, mint, powder sugar
II place: Hirja Niit – Yachting Club Kalev
III place: Heinar Õispuu – Lounge 8
The best Show-bartender 2006 is Tarmo Lehtla – Café Amigo
Helger Aava and Tarmo Lehtla will represent Estonia in World Cocktail
Competition (W.C.C.) that will take place 4.10 – 9. 10.2006 in Greece,
in picturesque Porto Carras.
