MASTER IN TECHNIQUE HELPS NEW MEMBERS

Mr.  Jarkko Salonen from Hämeenlinna passed his activetest in 1997. At first it was all about competiton - and he has been very succesful at that - but then he got interested in other activities as well.

- I applied membership because I was interested in competing, tells Jarkko about his motives. - Now the club is most of all a way to maintain and improve my professional skills. I find extra things in the educations that I can't get only by working.

F.B.S.K has many local clubs (guilds) around Finland and Jarkko thinks its a good thing. - F.B.S.K Häme was the one activating me to work for the common good, that is the club. Before all I did was compete.

In competitions Jarkko has been very succesful. He has almost one page in his C.V. only for winnings, finals etc. He represented Finland in I.B.A. 1999, and in Cuba, Havana Club he was first in technique. He has two Finland Championships in technique and has made the finals in a variety of small and bigger competitions.

Jarkko gives out his knowledge. He educates studentmembers, judges competitions and is active in overall. And activetest - who wouldn't take technique master as his tutor?

Jarkko has noticed that also employers value the F.B.S.K. membership. It doesn't mean that your salary gets up but when it comes to competing for the places, F.B.S.K. membership rules. You make a stand with it and you are in the top of applicants.

You have to work your way to F.B.S.K. Activetest makes sure that members stay in the high level. People who take the Bartender II degree as their leisure time are definitely commited to their work.

By the way Jarkko, how did your own active test go? I made it, thats all he says.
