6th International Finlandia Vodka Cup

Stojan Krizman from Slovenian took the Cup

Stojan Krizman won the 6th International Finlandia Vodka Cup. The competition was in Restaurant Kappeli, right next to Helsinki Market place. Second was Mr. Jan Lindgren from Finland and third was Mr. Adelino Figueira from Norway.

There was competitors from 13 countries in this very intensive competition. All competitors have won national Finlandia Vodka Cup in their homecountry. Spectators had great opportunity to see the best Finlandia Vodka bartenders from Turkey, Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, United Kingdom, Finland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Serbia & Montenegro, Poland, Norway, and Belarus. New recipes, new methods of mixing drinks and many details of the competition kept everybody focused.

All competitors made Pre-Dinner, After Dinner and Long Drinks based on Finlandia Vodka, Finlandia Lime Fusion and Finlandia Cranberry Fusion.

International jury evaluated every drink by appearance, aroma and taste. The jury desided, that Mr. Stojan Krizman is the Finlandia Vodka Bartender of the year. Mr. Krizman's balanced drinks and smooth way of mixing got most points. He got  total of 276 points. "Finlandia Blues" Pre-Dinner cocktail 94 points. "Finlandia Legend" Long Drink 88 points and "Sinful" After Dinner cocktail 94 points.

Second was Mr. Jan Lindgren from Finland and third was Mr. Adelino Figueira from Norway. They total score was even, 265 points. Jan won the Long Drink categorie with his drink "Party Level", so he got the second prize.

Member of the jury, Mr. Timo Haimi, was very pleased of new ideas in decoration of the drinks and modern tendensy to make colorful drinks. Mr. Haimi won the Finlandia Vodka Honorary Cup in Helsinki earlier this year.

After the Cup, all competitors will spend unforgettable days in Lapland, in the origin of Finlandia Vodka.
