HELSINKI 2005
I.B.A. 2005 in Helsinki

In the year 2005 on the 19th – 24th of October in Helsinki we organize an I.B.A. Congress and along with it the Bartenders’ World Championship in two categories, Flair Tending and Fancy Cocktail.  The congress gathers approximately 600 participants from 50 countries. The congress location is the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the World Championship location the Finlandia House.

Both domestic and foreign media will be invited to the event; the most important magazines in the beverage business, the lifestyle and trend magazines and the media representatives both from Russia and The United States. The interest within the media particularly in the world’s best Flair Tending competitors is high.

The event is organized in cooperation with both the international and domestic professionals of the beverage business. Negotiations with the international companies of different industries in Finland are taking place. The television broadcasting contracts are negotiated with the television companies and the possibility of live television broadcasting is impending.
From Finland a delegation is sent to this year’s congress in Las Vegas on the 20th – 25th of November to promote to the international members the I.B.A. event in Helsinki next year.
